1. Scope of Policy

This policy applies to all laundry services offered by Nirmal Laundromat, including washing, drying, ironing, and dry cleaning.

2. Compensation for Damaged Clothes

While we handle your garments with the utmost care, in the rare event that an item is damaged due to our negligence, the following terms apply:

  • Compensation Limit: We will compensate up to 20% of the item’s current value.
  • Value Assessment: The current value will be determined based on the age, condition, and market value of the item. Proof of purchase or similar documentation may be required to verify the value.
  • Claim Submission: Damages must be reported within 5 days of receiving your order. Claims should include photos of the damage and a detailed description.

3. Exclusions

Compensation will not be provided under these conditions:

  • Damage caused by pre-existing conditions such as weak fabric, unreported stains, or loose embellishments.
  • Items left uncollected for more than 30 after service completion.
  • Claims made after the stipulated reporting period.

4. Refunds for Service Errors

If a service error occurs (e.g., items returned unclean or incomplete), we will:

  • Offer a redo of the service at no additional charge.
  • Provide a refund only if the issue cannot be resolved.

5. General Conditions

  • Compensation or refunds are issued at the sole discretion of Nirmal Laundromat.
  • This policy does not cover incidental or consequential damages.
